Brighton High School is a state-of-the-art co-educational school for Years 7-12 accommodating 600 students.

Our culture is characterised by connection, passion, and commitment; we provide an educational environment where all within it thrive.

We are excited to share our school with you.

Student Life

Our students have access to the full suite of experiences – from Sciences to Digital Technologies, Foods to Music, and Woodworking to Drama - as well as in-school and extra-curricular sport and activities. There is a school canteen, playground, kitchenettes, library, indoor and outdoor courts and fields, café facilities, uniform shop and more on site to value-add to your child’s experience.

Our students and their families are each connected to a key educator within the school to support their care, wellbeing, and growth in learning. This relationship between family, student and educator will be the foundation of each child’s success at Brighton High School across their Grade 7-12 years.

Education

Our young people tell us that learning works best for them when it is hands-on, active, and collaborative. Dynamic specialist facilities showcase the connectedness of learning across the boundaries of traditional subjects. Time outdoors, in nature and on-country provides a healthy balance to indoor learning.

Every student has access to the quality physical and digital resources needed to support their growth, and necessary for adapting to a changing world. The digital world at Brighton High School is not an individual experience – technologies are the vehicle for collaborative problem-solving, inquiry and exploration beyond the boundaries of local community.

Community

Brighton High school is at the heart of our wider community growth. We foster partnerships with organisations beyond our school walls to connect students to the rich life of their local community through sporting organisations, recreational activities, representative groups, or the world of work and volunteering. We connect with business and industry to align our education with the skills and dispositions needed to address challenges and seize opportunities in the future of work.
